#Preparation

Pre-Tryout Camp

In preparation of the tryout process, Kansas Rush annually offers a pre-tryout camp for players between the ages of seven thru eighteen. This opportunity not only allows you or your child to meet the competitive coaches who work with your age group, but it also allows you to determine if our club is a good fit for you individually. Additionally, tryouts can also be overwhelming at times and this camp allows that particular player who needs just a little more time getting comfortable, the opportunity to do just that!

The sessions which are included are geared towards players who are currently playing competitive soccer or are looking to join a competitive team for the upcoming season. Players will be divided by age and gender and can expect activities which focus on dribbling, passing, finishing and 1v1 situations.

Our camp in not mandatory, but it is highly recommended for any new player looking to join Kansas Rush, a recreational player looking to make the jump to more competitive play, or any player who just wants to get extra touches prior to tryouts.

Girls Academy league (GA)

2024-2025 Tryout Information

Tryouts for the 2024-25 Girls Academy League (GA) teams in the U13-U19 age groups will take place at the end of May. The registration link for tryouts is open and can be accessed below.

There is no cost associated with our tryouts, but Registration is required to participate.

DATES

May 30-31, 2024 for all age groups 2012-2006 (U13-U19).

LOCATION

Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex, Fields 10 & 11 - 13700 Switzer Rd., Overland Park, KS 66221

SCHEDULE

Sessions will run from the morning through the afternoon of each day. Times are currently being finalized for each age group and we will have those times available soon.

Tryouts for ECNL RL and all other BOYS and GIRLS competitive U8-U19 teams will take place during the KSYSA mandated tryout weekend. The registration link for tryouts is open and can be accessed below.
